"O que é a vida real?

 Um menino fez esta pergunta. Jogar, comer boas comidas, correr, pular, empurrar — essa é a vida real para ele.

 

Vejam, dividimos a vida entre verdadeiro e falso. A vida verdadeira é fazer algo de que gostem com todo o seu ser, para que não haja uma contradição interna, nem guerra entre o que estão a fazer e o que acham que deveriam fazer.

 

A vida será então um processo inteiramente integrado, no qual haverá muita alegria. Mas isso só poderá acontecer quando não mais depender psicologicamente de ninguém em particular ou de uma sociedade, quando houver, no seu íntimo, um desapego completo, pois somente assim haverá a possibilidade de realmente amar aquilo que faz.

 

Se estiver num estado de total revolta, não importa se trabalha num jardim, se tornou-se primeiro- ministro ou se realiza alguma outra coisa. Amará aquilo que faz, e desse amor virá uma sensação extraordinária de criatividade."

you are the rest of mankind ...

"You are the world, you are not separate from the world. You are not an American, Russian, Hindu, or Muslim.  

You are apart from these labels and words, you are the rest of mankind because your consciousness, your reactions are similar to the others.

You may speak a different language, have different customs, that is superficial culture, all cultures apparently are superficial, but your consciousness, your reactions, your faith, your beliefs, your ideologies, your fears, anxieties, loneliness, sorrow, and pleasure are similar to the rest of mankind.

"Your consciousness is not yours any more than your thinking. It is not an individual thinking.

Thinking is common, is general, from the poorest man, the most uneducated, unsophisticated man in a little, tiny village to the most sophisticated brain, the great scientists; they all think.

The thinking may be more complex, but thinking is general, shared by all human beings.

Therefore, it is not your individual thinking. This is rather difficult to see and to recognize the truth of it, because we are so conditioned as individuals.

All your religious books, whether Christian or Muslim or another, all sustain and nourish this idea, this concept of an individual. You have to question that. You have to find out the truth of the matter.

"Um ser humano é, psicologicamente, a humanidade inteira. Não só a representa, como é a totalidade da espécie humana, é essencialmente toda a psicose da humanidade.

Contra essa realidade, várias culturas impuseram a ilusão de que cada ser humano é diferente.

Nessa ilusão a humanidade tem estado presa durante séculos, e essa ilusão acabou por se tornar uma realidade.

Se a pessoa observar de perto toda a estrutura psicológica de si mesma, descobrirá que, quando uma pessoa sofr...e, toda a humanidade sofre em graus variados.

Se é solitário, a humanidade inteira conhecerá essa solidão. A agonia, o ciúme, a inveja e o medo são conhecidos de todos.

Portanto, psicologicamente, interiormente, uma pessoa é como a outra. Pode haver diferenças em termos físicos e biológicos; uma pessoa é alta, baixa, etc., mas basicamente, uma pessoa é o representante de toda a humanidade.

Assim, psicologicamente tu és o mundo; és responsável por toda a humanidade, e não por si mesmo como ser humano à parte, o que é uma ilusão psicológica...

Se compreendes todo o significado do facto de que uma pessoa é psicologicamente o mundo, então a responsabilidade torna-se amor irresistível."
